A New Pole Barn

Ben and his boys are putting the finishing touches on the new pole barn.

This new barn is for storing all the new equipment we procured over the last year. Looking back we really did get quite a bit of equipment.

Seed drill
Combine
Bushhog
Baler
Haybine
Rake

But we can’t be leaving this stuff out in the rain and snow. And we didn’t have nearly enough space to store it in either the tractor shed or the Kuper barn. We looked at a couple of options for buildings and settled on this pole barn and employed Ben and his boys to put it up for us.

As you can see we moved a bunch of equipment in even before it was finished. Tomorrow I’ll move some more stuff in. It really breaks my heart to see our equipment rusting away out doors.
